Hej Leffe ! Don't do that. The filter is there for a special purpose, it cleans the air from dust so your engine won't be ruined. You can of course put on another easy-flow filter, to get more air into the carb, but WHY ? What is it you want to do with your bike ?
If you want more power (speed) just removing the intake from the airbox will not do. You will only run your engine on a too lean mixture and your valves will burn. You also need to change main jet, and to improve the outlet of exhaust gases by changing to a less restrictive muffler.
Why hurry if you have not even tried the bike yet ? Are you sure there are no modifications allready done to your bike ?
